Kickin' off the New Year

Gerald Clark / Guy Collins / Barry van Zyl / Crab Shack / New Years

Gerald counted off the last ten seconds off 2015 alongside Guy Collins and Barry van Zyl at the Crab Shack in Cape Town.

Soon he'll be hitting the road to promote his new album, AfroBoer & the GoldenGoose. There's exciting stuff to come. Like him on Facebook and travel with.

If you haven't heard, his album is available on iTunes.

It was a damn hot day in Pretoria, but this particular Tuesday was even hotter.

The Atterbury Launch was a true blues extravaganza.

Gerald Clark launched his dynamic 4th album in the Atterbury teatre a month ago. It was spectacular. Every seat was filled and the stage was set with the best musicians you can think of – Schalk van der Merwe, Simon Orange, Tim Rankin, Guy Collins, Jaco Mans, Suzi Swanepoel, Stephan van As, Dozi, Emile Swiegers, and Werner van Hoven – each adding their expertise to every note of the AfroBoer & the GoldenGoose.

It was just one of those nights you can't really explain in words, so go to Facebook and check out Gerald Clark's bandpage for some photos.

Pretoria - Don't miss this one!

Making Headlines

Who is the real AfroBoer?

Gerald Clark / AfroBoer Battle / AfroBoer & the GoldenGoose / SA Music Scene

Over the weekend Gerald Clark's afro made headlines. He was featured in an article in the Weekend Argus. Check out the article here. In short, the owner of a restaurant called Afro-boer, was unhappy about Clark's 4th album name, AfroBoer & the GoldenGoose, and she threatened legal action.

The article fired-up fans to make their opinion heard. Jaco Brill, a supporter of local music and a writer for SA Music Scene, wrote an open letter to the owner of the restaurant in Pretoria to urge her to rather use this opportunity and invite Gerald to perform at her venue.
